**** Update**** We're delighted to be able to say that we'll now be having an online craft fair on Sunday 15 March in place of the postponed Westhill fair. The online fair is being run by the same lovely group of volunteers and will feature many of the same local makers and artisans. For more details, please see the updated event listing on this site.
Unfortunately Sunday’s craft fair in Westhill has been postponed due to concerns over the coronavirus. It’s obviously been a very difficult decision for those running the event but I think it’s the right one - it’s much harder with a public craft fair or market to control the environment than it is with some other events.
If you were looking for a Mother’s Day gift there’s still time to order from us directly, including for custom-made or bespoke jewellery, and I will still be keeping the order book for delivery by Mother’s Day open until Sunday evening - just drop me a line and we can discuss your requirements.
Speaking of which, as things stand, our workshop on 16 April is still going ahead as planned but, along with the lovely folks at The Cult of Coffee, we will be taking additional precautions in order to provide as safe as experience as possible, including wiping tools and materials down with antibacterial wipes before and during the event. A lot of the tools we’ll be using are new anyway so should be fairly sterile and I won’t be unpacking the silver we’ll be using ahead of time in order to keep that sterile as well.
At the time of writing, no-one in the Tawbis household has any coronavirus symptoms and to the best of our knowledge we haven’t come in to contact with anyone who does, but obviously if that situation changes we’ll let you all know.
If you are booked on to the workshop and you have any concerns, please do get in touch, either through this Facebook page or via email at email@example.com.
We’ll post details of future workshops and craft fairs, including the rearranged date for Westhill, as soon as we have them on this page and on our website (www.tawbis.com).
