I just wanted to give you all a quick update on how things stand following last night’s announcement by the UK government of further restrictions in the efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus.
An email has now gone out to all attendees for the workshop that was due to be held on 16 April. Obviously that date is no longer viable given it is just over three weeks away, so all those who had booked places have been given a number of options, including refunds or transfer of places to a future date.
As soon as we get back to something approaching normality we’ll be arranging more dates and will publicise them on this site as well as on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/tawbisstudios)
If you were booked to attend and haven’t yet seen the email, please check your inbox or message me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our beaded bracelet workshop in June is still on the books at the time of writing and has spaces available, but obviously we’ll be keeping an eye on the situation as it evolves and will make a decision nearer the time as to whether to go ahead or not.
We’re still open for business for online sales via our website. Production of new items may be a little slower than usual as our material suppliers are also being impacted by the new measures but everything listed on the site at the moment is in stock and ready for despatch.
Postal services may be a little slower than normal but we are assured that they are still running. In the meantime, as a hopefully temporary measure, we’re looking into switching to a courier who can collect from our premises to ensure that we’re fully compliant with the new restrictions. If you are looking to order something by a particular date, please get in touch to discuss your requirements. If you’re buying a gift we can send it directly to your recipient and can also offer a range of options for including a personal message from you with the gift.
If anyone has any queries or concerns please don’t hesitate to get in touch. In the meantime, I hope you’re all managing to stay safe and well.
